Accessibility statement
Statement updated: July 29, 2026
1. Commitment to accessibility
At Personal IT Guy we treat accessibility as a basic right, not a perk. We work so that every person, including people with disabilities, can browse the site and use the software comfortably, independently and with dignity.
2. Legal framework
Accessibility work follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli standard IS 5568 "Web content accessibility guidelines", which is based on the W3C's WCAG guidelines.
3. Level of accessibility achieved
The site was made accessible to Level AA of the standard. Conformance was checked with a combination of automated code testing and manual testing - full keyboard-only navigation, contrast-ratio checks, heading and label structure, and display at up to 200% zoom.
4. What was made accessible on the site
• Full keyboard navigation without relying on a mouse, including a clear indicator of the focused element.
• A "skip to content" link that bypasses the navigation menu.
• A semantic heading structure and ARIA attributes on interactive components, for screen-reader compatibility.
• Adequate contrast ratios between text and background, in both light and dark display modes.
• Alternative text for meaningful images and illustrations; decorative images are marked as such so they are not read out needlessly.
• Correct display at browser zoom up to 200%, with no clipped text and no loss of content.
• A layout adapted to different screens, tablets and mobile devices.
• Respect for the system's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
• Information and document windows can be closed from the keyboard (Esc), returning focus to where they were opened from.
5. The site's accessibility menu
An accessibility button (♿) in the corner of the screen opens a personal-adjustments menu: increase and decrease text size (up to 150%), high contrast, negative contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, a readable font, an enlarged cursor, stopping animations, and resetting the settings. Your choices are saved in the browser and follow you between pages and on later visits. The menu itself is keyboard accessible and closes with Esc.
6. Accessibility in the Personal IT Guy software
The software is not a "website" for the purposes of the regulations, but it was made accessible in the same spirit. It includes a dedicated accessibility menu offering: larger text, high contrast, inverted colours, grayscale, link highlighting, heading highlighting, keyboard-focus highlighting, an enlarged cursor, wider text spacing, a reading guide, stopping animations, and resetting the settings. You can also switch interface language (Hebrew/English), move between light and dark modes, and navigate between screens with the keyboard.
7. Parts that are not fully accessible
• Some graphical views in the software - the wireless network map and live graphs, for instance - are visual by nature. The full numeric information is presented as text alongside each of them.
• Report files generated by the user for printing may not meet every accessibility requirement.
• Third-party content outside our control (for example, external pages we link to) is not our responsibility.
We keep fixing and improving, and treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a finished task.
8. Accessibility enquiries
If you run into a difficulty, a fault or an element that is not accessible, we want to know and will fix it promptly. To help us act quickly, please mention the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and what you were using (browser, screen reader and so on).
